Malukas stands firm over McLaughlin IndyCar podium hostility

” So I stated, ‘Oh, thanks.’ [ another media member] wound up informing me what he in fact stated. It was quite aggressive, in fact. And he unfollowed me on whatever. I believe he was quite distressed with me.

” But from my end, I took a look at the racing occurrence and I 100 percent understand that I did definitely nothing incorrect. It’s like the well-known quote that states, ‘If you no longer choose a space that exists, you’re no longer a racing motorist.’

” The relocation was great, and it was clear and he came down on me and had a push. That’s what was anticipated.

” From my end, I do not have any beef with him due to the fact that for me it’s simply hardcore racing. It appears that you race with him, and he gets upset, and that’s simply the method that I saw it. I didn’t see that I did anything incorrect.

” I raced him reasonable and now he’s upset about it. He can be disturbed, it’s great. I think in my book, it’s type of a success that I got Scott McLaughlin, who’s 30 years of ages and he’s got a 21- year-old stuck in his head.”
