Philadelphia Eagles star edge-rusher Haason Reddick went through surgical treatment on Aug. 17 to fix a cartilage injury on his ideal thumb.
And while Reddick isn’t sure how it will impact his play, he’s positive that he’ll be all set to choose Week 1 and will not be affected too considerably by the injury.
” I feel great,” he informed press reporters Monday. “I’m in shape physically. I’ve been running around because I returned from the surgical treatment. I do seem like I’m in shape physically, conditioned. You understand, it’s simply going to have to do with adjusting now. It’s not that huge of a concern to me. It’s a thumb, you understand? Wrap it up, return out there, go play ball.”
A healthy and efficient Reddick is crucial for the Eagles’ Super Bowl goals.
He was magnificent in his very first season with the group, signing up 16 sacks, 11 deals with for loss, 26 quarterback strikes, 5 required fumbles and 3 fumble healings. That caused his very first Pro Bowl quote and assisted lead the Eagles to the Super Bowl behind an NFL-leading 70 sacks as a group throughout the routine season.
And Reddick is eager for a repetition, injury and all.
” I’m simply taking it one day at a time,” he stated. “I ain’t down about it, not unfortunate about it. What occurred taken place. I’m going to adjust, move on and head out there and still attempt to put my finest ball on tape.”
