Metro Nashville police are searching for a suspect after a 20-year-old was shot to death at a gas station on Brick Church Pike.
Keonta Brown, 20, went to the gas station with a friend shortly before 4 p.m., police said. Brown stayed in the car while his friend went into the convenience store.
“He was shot by persons in a vehicle driving in the parking lot outside the store,” according to a statement from police.
Someone drove Brown to Skyline Medical Center where he died, police said.
Police believe Brown was targeted, the statement said, and are pursuing active leads in the case.
