The Eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 near James Robertson Parkway have reopened downtown after a tractor trailer overturned, spilling 19,000 pounds of PVC pipe.

The wreck was first reported about 7:15 a.m., according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

The lanes reopened about 11 a.m.
