ARLINGTON, Texas — Day one for Vanderbilt baseball in 2023 looked much the same as 2022.

The Commodores (0-1) fell to TCU, 11-4, as the Horned Frogs scored 10 of their 11 runs with two outs and peppered extra-base hits around the park. TCU had six extra-base hits while Vanderbilt had five hits total.

On Saturday, Vanderbilt will look to rebound against another very good offensive team in Oklahoma State (1-0). The Cowboys beat Missouri on Friday, 5-3.

The Commodores have faced Oklahoma State both of the past two seasons, winning a series in Stillwater in 2021 and losing in Nashville in 2022.
