Vanderbilt baseball begins the 2023 season in Arlington, Texas at the home of the Texas Rangers with three games this weekend against Big 12 competition.
All three games will be against teams ranked in the USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll preseason. The Commodores face No. 17 TCU on Friday, No. 8 Oklahoma State on Saturday and No. 24 Texas on Sunday.
The Commodores begin the season ranked No. 9 in the coaches poll, but behind six other SEC teams. Four of those teams (Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas) are on Vandy’s league schedule.
