The Nashville Predators swapped a Filip with a Philip on Monday morning.
The team recalled forward Philip Tomasino from Milwaukee in wake of the upper-body injury Filip Forsberg suffered Saturday that left him day-to-day.
Tomasino has 12 goals and 20 assists in 38 games with Admirals. The 21-year-old was picked 24th overall by the Predators in 2019. He spent all of last season with the Predators, recording 11 goals and 21 assists in 76 games.
Predators general manager David Poile said Tomasino was sent to Milwaukee because of his struggles during training camp.
Forsberg was checked hard into the boards late during the first period of Saturday’s overtime victory against the Philadelphia Flyers, leaving Forsberg to be helped off the ice.
Forsberg leads the Predators with 19 goals and is tied for the team lead in points with 42.
